Surprise! John Cena is on the cover of WWE 2K15

Curb Your Enthusiasm, Homies.

After WWE 2K account teased a cover announcement during the June 30 episode of RAW, dozens of internet graphic designers jumped into their bootleg copies of Photoshop and tried to get a jump on the potential cover artist.

Guys like Cesaro, Brock Lesnar, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose or the Sell-Out Seth Rollins snagging the cover got the fans excited but the WWE did what was best for business and went with the current World Heavyweight Champion, John Cena. Surprise!

Cena is the biggest star the WWE has right now, (even if you can’t see him) so it’s a smart financial move but eventually the WWE will need to do a better job of promoting the rising stars. However, with revenue shortfalls and lower-than-expected WWE Network subscribers, they needed to stick with their safety net and choose a guy beloved by the 17 people who saw John Cena star in “The Marine.” Well at least that was better than this WWE Superstar starring fiasco:

Anyway, listen to Cena chat about it below and have a great day!
